The Breakfast

The breakfast menu will vary according to the season and to what Viv has cooked that day but will include:

Full Yorkshire Breakfast of bacon, sausage, egg, black pudding, baked beans, tomato and mushrooms, a choice of juices and breakfast cereals, porridge, toast with homemade jam and marmalade, yogurts and tea and coffee.

Here at Laneside Farm, food is taken very seriously. As much produce as possible is from the local area.

Our own free-range hens supply the eggs and might well come and watch you eating them (through the window).

Sausage, bacon and black pudding is from a nearby butcher who sources his pork locally. Summer time means that the tomatoes might come from our greenhouse.

Bread is either baked at home or sourced from The Handmade Bakery, Slaithwaite's artisan baker.

Tea is Yorkshire tea or from a selection.

Coffee is Grumpy Mule which is a fairtrade company that roasts its coffee just down the fields from here in Meltham Mills. If the wind is from the south then you can wake up and literally smell the coffee.

If you are out for the day and would like a packed lunch then please let Viv know the day before.
